Meet Our 2022 Publishing Intern

Bywater Books and Amble Press are proud to welcome our 2022 Publishing Intern, Sarah Frechette.

Sarah (she/they) is a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she continues to work part-time, contributing to research and authoring academic journal articles. While completing her undergraduate studies, she also wrote for The Daily Californian and was part of the editorial team at the Berkeley Fiction Review. She has always been an avid reader and aims to expand her passion for literary projects and learn about the different facets of the publishing profession through her internship.

Sarah’s work with Bywater Books & Amble Press is an opportunity to perform a deep dive into the different jobs and processes that make up the publishing profession while working with professionals who support LGBTQIA+ representation in publishing and who advocate for and support queer writers of color and representation across our literature and the publishing industry.
