Bywater Books is pleased to announce the signing of Sandy Bailey.
Sandy Bailey began her working life driving freight and passenger trains throughout New England and building houses on Nantucket before buckling down to law school. In her legal career, she prosecuted white collar (financial) crimes and domestic violence in New Mexico and corporate fraud in Boston and Washington, DC. As a non-profit board member, she brings diverse urban neighbors together in Boston’s Franklin Park for clean-ups, bird walks, and outdoor concerts. She shoots hoops on a lesbian basketball squad and has tromped every trail in the ancient Blue Hills with her hiking buddies. In 2012, she took a queer dance class with an especially captivating teacher, who somehow agreed to marry her. Together, they are part of bringing the queer dance joy that makes Boston a great place to live.
Her novel, She’s on to Something, is a novel of legal suspense and a slow-burning romance with a diverse cast of characters
