GCLS 2014

The 2014 Conference of the Golden Crown Literary Society takes place July 9–13. To mark the 10th Anniversary of GCLS, this year’s theme will be Historic Milestones — and there are several to celebrate, including the repeal of DOMA and DADT. The organizers have invited women to attend the Awards Ceremony wearing their uniforms.

Several Bywater authors will be attending: Wynn Malone, Baxter Clare Trautman, Joan Opyr, Georgia Beers, Ann McMan, and Katherine Forrest.

Thursday, July 10
• 10–11 a.m. — I Wish I’d Written That!
Katherine Forrest and Georgia Beers will be appearing on a panel facilitated by KG Macgregor.

• 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Wynn Malone will be one of several authors chatting, moderated by Dillon Watson.

• 2:30–3:30 p.m. — Editors’ Pet Peeves
Katherine Forrest will appear on this panel moderated by Salem West of The Rainbow Reader.

• 3:45–4:45 p.m.
Katherine Forrest will chat with other authors, moderated by Lynn Ames.

Friday, July 11
• 9–10 a.m. — Mastering the Mystery in Your Writing
Katherine Forrest will appear on this panel moderated by Ann McMan.

• 2:45–3:45 p.m. and 4–5 p.m. — The Must Haves in Your Manuscript
Katherine Forrest will be explaining what a publisher is looking for.
