Jill Malone will be taking part in the 2014 Get Lit! festival. This week-long festival that attracts 10,000 visitors runs from April 7 to April 13 this year, and Jill will take part in two events on Saturday, April 12.
She will be one of four authors to feature in a panel Finding Your Character’s Voice in YA Fiction. Together they “will discuss how they were able to discover their characters’ unique voices and to develop them in a believable way.” The event takes place from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. in Room 206A of the Spokane Center.
Jill will also be reading from her latest novel, Giraffe People, in an event that will pair her with debut author Leslye Walton, whose debut novel The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender is already picking up strong reviews. Details to be announced.
