Lyvia Martinez was born and raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She holds a BA in Media Arts from Brigham Young University and an MA in Screenwriting from Chapman University. She is also a graduate of the Golden Crown Literary Society Writing Academy. An award-winning screenwriter and short film producer, she has worked for DreamWorks Animation and Netflix. She currently lives in California with her wife.
Her debut is a sapphic new adult novel called Our Last Fall, and it will be published in September 2026.
